Tripping And Falling

I’m a false alarm
I’m a dry lake bed
I’m the signal turning yellow
I drank the last of the water
I didn’t tell anyone where I was going
I ran with scissors
Rock beats paper
Shifting sands, unsteady feet
I’m the tide that washes us both away
Dragged down by the undertow
Washed up ashore days later
Amnesiac, nostalgic for what is to come
I’ll never remember this
Unless you write it all down for me
I’ll never forget this
Unless you disappear forever
I am a phantom, corporeal
You are a ghost, incarnate
We effervesce into one another
Missing you
Mist
You missed me
Mist
Vapor trails in the sky
Frozen in time
Fuck gravity
We’ll stay aloft forever

  1. Seriously how the hell do we listen to the same music! I love this one so much I have had it in my playlist for a long time and I can’t get enough of it.

And your poem, always super good!
